Equipment Checklist
Car Camp
- Food (tins allowed)
- Sleeping bag (≤-5°C)
- Pillow and Sleeping mat
- Cooker, billy (pot), waterproof matches
- Plate/s, cup, cutlery
- Water bottle or bladder (at least 1L)
- Head Torch and spare batteries
- Hat and sunscreen
- Bible
- Raincoat or poncho
- Good walking shoes
- Footwear for campsite (no bare feet outside tents)
- Clothes suitable for conditions. (Shorts, shirts, Jumper, long pants, beanie, thermals)
- Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, TOILET PAPER/SHOVEL)
- Hand Sanitizer
- Plastic bag for rubbish
- Plastic bag for wet clothing
- Swimmers/towel/shoes for water activities
- Any specific items needed (as directed by camp information newsletter)
Hiking Camp
- Lightweight, adjustable pack
- Rain cover for pack
- Lightweight Food
- Sleeping bag packed in plastic waterproof bag. (Fill your sleeping bag cover with clothes for a pillow)
- Sleeping mat – light weight
- Light-weight cooker, billy, waterproof matches (can organise to share out cooking equipment between people in group)
- Plate/cup/cutlery- light weight
- Water bottle/hydration pack (2 Litres)
- Head Torch (spare batteries)
- Hat/Small bottle of suncream
- Small Bible
- Small pencil (to mark map)
- Large cliplock bag for mapCompass
- Raincoat/poncho
- Good walking shoes
- Suitable clothes for conditions packed in waterproof plastic bag
- Spare socks
- Thermals/beanie/gloves as needed
- Toiletries (toothbrush, small amount of tooth paste, Half roll toilet paper, light weight mini shovel)
- Hand Sanitizer
- Plastic bag for rubbish

- Small first aid kit (bandaids, triangular bandage)
